peak “山峯”、“高峰”，普通用词，凡指山的顶峰（不一定是最高峯），也可指某事物达到最高点或处于最佳状态。
1) Every mountain has a peak and from the distance you can see peak beyond peak.
（每一座山都有顶峰,从远距离你可以看到重重山峰。）
2) The writer reached the peak of his writing career when he published his fifteenth novel in 2000.
（2000作者出版第十五本小说，达到他写作的生涯顶峰。）
summit “山峯”、“高峰”，正式用词，指山峯最高峯，与peak一样，也可指某事物达到最高点或处于最佳状态。

2) His work was universally considered as a masterpiece in architecture, which marked the climax of his popularity.

zenith “顶峰”，用法大致同climax。
1）His mastery of new painting techniques was at its zenith when he reached forty.
（四十岁的时候他对绘画新技巧的掌握处于巅峰状态。）
