Some time we come up with such website which we want to have in our computer to open or read it again and again without using the facility of internet every time.

In this article I am going to explain you how to copy or download the whole website on few easy clicks by using Efficient and free software known as HTTrack. It is and easy-to-use offline browser utility best thing is it is also available in portable version.

It allows you to download a World Wide Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site’s relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the “mirrored” website in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. HTTrack is fully configurable, and has an integrated help system.

To copy / Download website run the executable file, introduction page will open.

Press next, a new page for project selection will open, in this page select project name , project category and location where you want to save the website then press next.

In next page you have to choose the action which you want to do like, download website, download website with questions, get separated files, download all sites in pages(multiple mirror), test link in pages, update existing download, continue intercepted download, chose the action which you want to perform

Then in the web address (URL) enter the address of website which you want to download or copy and then press next.

Then if you want to download it now press finish otherwise chose the option “save the settings only, don’t launch download now” and then press next remaining HTTrack will do automatically

WinHTTrack is the Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Seven release of HTTrack, and WebHTTrack the Linux/Unix/BSD release.
