表示“考虑周到的”意思时，两词常可换用，都接动词不定式复合结构 of sb. to do sth. 。
1) It was very considerate/thoughtful of you to send me a get-well card during my stay in hospital.
（在我呆在医院里的期间您发来慰问卡，你想得真周到。）
2) It is very considerate/thoughtful of you to have made all the necessary arrangement for us.
（你为我们作好了一切必要的安排，你考虑得真周到。）
3) Do you prefer an ugly but considerate wife or a beautiful but self-centered wife?
(你宁愿娶一个体贴的丑妻还是一个自私的美妻？)
4) We proveide professional interior decoration and thoughtful services to our customers.
(我们为广大顾客提供专业的室内空间设计，努力送给客户最体贴的服务。)
英语某些形容词后需接动词不定式复合结构 of sb. to do sth. 用这一结构的形容词还有：kind、nice、good、rude、wrong、 right、wise、unwise、silly、foolish、polite、impolite、clever、careful、careless、crazy等。
1) Don’t you think it was crazy of you to have trying climbing up here? You might have killed yourself.
（在这里尝试爬上去，你疯了吗？你可能会摔死的。）
2) It was unwise of you to have interfered with these affairs which did not concern you at all.
（你去干涉与你毫不相干的事，实在是太不明智。）
