Designed in 1962 by Poul Volther the Corona chair's sculptured form combines aesthetic appeal
with superb comfort. The distinctive elliptical sections are constructed of moulded plywood
shells with CFC free cold cured foam. The 4 star stainless steel frame comes with a swivel mechanism.
1962年，丹麦设计师保罗.沃尔德尔完成了这张经典CORONA CHAIR。椅子充满了雕塑感，斯堪德维亚风格的简洁外形和极舒适的坐感都是这张椅子成为传世之作的原因，四个椭圆形组成一张独特的椅子，无论摆放在哪，都令人过目不忘。

Poul M. Volther (1923-2001) belonged to a generation of architects with solid roots in the very
best of craft. As an exponent to functionalism he was against fads and aesthetic smartness and he
loved the simple manufacture of fine materials. Poul M. Volther was a trained cabinet-maker
and later he graduated from The School of Arts and Crafts.
As a teacher at The Danish School of Art and Design he has influenced
