一、Teaching aims and demands

掌握现在进行时态表示将来(Present progressive as future ).

学习条件状语从句: if + will .

进一步了解情态动词should的用法.

学习谈论因果关系.

通过pair work和groupwork，鼓励学生对if引出的结果进行推测。

本课时围绕party展开话题，贴近学生生活，符合他们热爱休闲的心理，提高并激发他们学习英语的兴趣，培养学生的竞争意识，并积极参与英语教学实践活动。

四、Teaching procedures :

Step 1  Leading in

     The teacher ask::what day is today? What day is tomorrow? Let the students answer.

     Then ask: what are you going to do tomorrow? Students answer.

     Say: if you do, you’ll ………

Step 2  Pre-task

  Ask students to work in pairs :What are you going to do ···? I think I’m going to···.  Then ask some students about the consequences.

  Shoe some other picthers,help the student talk about the consequences

Step 3  While-task

1.Show the pictures of Section A , ask the students to predict the consequences. Talk about the pictures

2..Show the response to the students and help them translate.

3.. Ask students to match them quickly.

4. Listen. Were your answers to activity 1a correct? Play the tape and then check the answers

5 Ask two Ss to read the example in the sample in activity 1c.

5. In pairs , get Ss to talk about what happened in the pictures .

6.   Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class .

Step 4.  Presentation and Practice

Play a flash show to explain “if + will” (重点讲解如何使用 if 所引导的条件状语从句 a.) if 所引导的条件状语从句，主句用将来时态 从句用一般现在时态b.）if 所引导的条件状语从句 , 从句可以放在主句前也可放在主句后，从句在前时要有逗号隔开，反之则不用）
