核心提示：“文化大革命”中我觉得对他刺激最大的是林彪事件，因为他认为林彪是一直拥护他的，是他一个比较忠实的信徒。林彪居然干出这种谋杀手段，对他刺激太大了。所以林彪事件以后所有老的他都不相信了，就相信王洪文、张春桥、姚文元，当然还有江青。所以后来就反常反得极端了。

我们这个党后来“文化大革命”留有很多问题我现在也想不通，明明是毛主席讲过的话，他可以重新变过。比如瞿秋白的那个《多余的话》，毛主席看了，也亲自跟我讲过，说秋白这个同志是书生，说他文章写得很好。他那个意思就是说并没有出卖什么党的秘密，或者说他是叛徒。后来忽然不晓得怎么一下子说他是叛徒。也是他讲的。所以他有些事情不知怎么搞的。

武昌会议的时候，毛主席是正式交了权的呵，是交给刘少奇的。但是他实际并没有交呀。他这个交就是政治局会议他不到了，因为他那时精力有限，一天躺在床上，但事实上什么事情他不同意，你都得推翻。他不是那个时候对小平同志有意见么，说小平同志封锁他么。

他以前说高岗时提出过北京有两个司令部，有个独立王国么，这是讲的高岗。后来“文化大革命”前他就提出来另外搞个计委，另外搞个书记处。计委他是搞成了，就是把余秋里，还有林乎加他们调来，把李富春架空。李富春这时也知趣，就写封信说我不管了。把全部事情都归秋里去管，余秋里当然是尊重李富春的。当他提出另外一个书记处的时候，当然邓小平同志不好讲话。周总理就讲，这个恐怕不好吧。那个时候他想调什么人当书记呢？他就想陶铸。所以以后说什么陶铸是刘少奇调到中央来的，这对于刘少奇来说，确实是个大冤枉。

上海会议时他还提出来他要挂帅，说“我是帅，邓小平是副帅。”这样刘少奇摆到哪儿去呵。所以开完会回来，大家都议论，这究竟是怎么一回事呵。当然谁也不好去问啦，不过彭老总当场就顶了他，说你不早就挂帅了么。另外他还说李富春怕鬼，也不知道是什么意思。后来有一段又把李富春搞成常委，没有搞几天就又不行了。总之主席后来弄得没有章法，谁都不知道他要搞什么。

“文化大革命”的事情我就不清楚了，因为我关在里头，什么也不知道。“文化大革命”不是听说毛主席他认为“反周必乱”么。我看他那个时候这一点看得非常清楚，没有一个人帮他支撑那些事情不行。你叫毛主席当总理他当得了吗？(刘英插话：当不了！)所以对于周他是这个样子：一方面觉得这个人也不那么听他的话，但另一方面又觉得没有这个人不行。而周也善于在这个中间调和。我们过去不是讲周是不倒翁么。周在“文化大革命”中确实是一个顶梁柱，如果没有他那就不得了，没有他这个和稀泥，那就不知道国家将会是个什么样子。(刘英插话：后来不是毛也不信任他了么？)不信任也没有办法，不信任哪一个搞得了呵？你康生搞得了？王洪文想当总理，但是王洪文也好，张春桥也好，都不行。所以“文化大革命”后期毛他自己也觉得这个摊子这样下去不得了。当然他自己最后归天了，这个摊子也就只有让给后人了。
