岁末年关之际,中宣部、中央文明办分赴全国各地开展关爱帮扶道德模范活动,对生活困难的全国道德模范进行登门走访慰问。据不完全统计,自2007年首届全国道德模范评选表彰活动开展以来,各地以奖励、补贴、捐助等形式资助各级道德模范3.3万人次,帮扶资金高达1.19亿元。这一系列关爱帮扶道德模范的举措,不仅让道德模范切实感受到党和政府以及社会各界的关怀和温暖,也使广大公众看到了高尚的价值,在全社会树立了好人有好报的鲜明价值导向。
关心关爱道德模范彰显了和谐社会的人文关怀,推动了社会主义核心价值体系建设。党的十七届六中全会强调,社会主义核心价值体系是兴国之魂,是社会主义先进文化的精髓,决定着中国特色社会主义发展方向。道德模范是国家授予公民在道德领域最高层面的荣誉称号,是公民的榜样,其高尚的道德行为直接体现了社会主义核心价值体系的价值导向。有关部门实施对生活困难道德模范的帮扶政策和行动,将会发挥强有力的示范、带动和激励作用,进一步培养公民对社会主义核心价值体系的认同感,促进社会道德水平的不断提升。
关心关爱道德模范要建立长效机制,实现帮扶常态化。首届全国道德模范评选表彰活动结束后,中宣部、中央文明办就制定了《帮扶生活困难道德模范实施办法》,明确了帮扶对象、帮扶程序、方式,提出采取资助现金解决生活困难、资助学费、医疗费和生活补贴、提供养老保险以及修建、购买房屋等多种方式,关爱帮扶道德模范。各地要重视关心道德模范的工作和生活,健全完善各项奖励保障制度,积极探索建立鼓励、支持、保障道德模范的长效机制,形成党委政府有力引导、社会各界积极参与的良好局面,让道德模范在工作上、生活中得到实实在在的帮助和支持。
关心关爱道德模范也要注重心理的抚慰和精神的关心。近年来,党和政府在物质上对道德模范进行了帮助,为道德模范解决了一些实际困难。但是,对道德模范以及他们家属的关心关爱不能只局限于物质,也要加强对他们心理和精神层面的关心。道德模范是社会利他精神、志愿精神和互助精神的践行者,他们的心理压力和社会焦虑超过普通人群,这就需要关爱帮扶活动在现有基础上继续拓展和延伸,建立心理疏导机制、情感引导机制,让道德模范不再孤单寂寞,让他们过得更好,走得更远。（赵达）
