A DEA officer stopped at a ranch in Texas , and talked with an old rancher.
一位DEA的官員在德州的一個牧場停下來，与一位老牧人谈话。
He told the rancher,
他告訴這一個牧人說：「我要檢查你的牧場，看看有沒有種植非法的藥物」
The rancher said, "Okay , but don't go in that field over there.....",
這個牧人說「OK！不過您不要走近牧場的那邊、、、」他指著那個方向。
The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, "
這位DEA（美國聯邦緝毒總署）的官員大聲的說：「喂！先生！我有聯邦政府賦予我的權力！」
Reaching into his rear pants pocket, he removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher.
從他的後口袋中秀出他的徽章，很驕傲的展現給這個牧人看。
"See this badge?!
「看到這個徽章沒有？這個徽章代表著，我可以到任何我想要到的地方去。….在任何的土地上。」
No questions asked or answers given!!
「不得有任何疑問或回答！！我說的夠清楚了嗎….你懂了嗎？！！」
The rancher nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores.
這個牧人有禮貌的點點頭，道歉，走開去做自己的農活去了。
A short time later, the old rancher heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher's big Santa Gertrudis bull......
沒有多久，這個老牧人聽到悽慘的大叫，探頭出去看，看到這位DEA的官員沒命的奔逃，在他的身後是這個牧人所養的一頭Santa Gertrudis牛…
With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he'd sure enough get gored before he reached safety.
這頭大牛每追一步都愈來愈接近這位官員。似乎想要在官員逃到安全的處所之前用牛角牴到他。
The rancher threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs.....
老牧人丟下他的工具，跑到圍籬邊，用他全部的肺活量大叫到…
"Your badge, show him your BADGE........ ! !" 「你的徽章，秀出你的徽章...」
