乔布斯的辞职信
北京时间2011年8月25日，苹果CEO，史蒂夫·乔布斯（Steve Jobs）正式辞去苹果CEO的职位，蒂姆·库克(Tim Cook)成为苹果新任CEO。接下来，乔布斯还是会作为董事会主席掌管苹果董事会。
乔布斯辞职后致苹果公司董事会的一封信：
苹果公司的董事会及苹果社区：
我一直说，如果有一天我不再能尽到自己作为苹果CEO的职责了，我会第一个让你们知道。很令人遗憾的，这一天终究是到来了。
在此，我正式辞去苹果公司CEO职位，如果董事会认为合适，我希望能继续作为苹果公司领导者、公司的一员来领导董事会。
至于在我之后苹果公司新的CEO一职，我强烈推荐按照我们的继任计划所制定的———蒂姆·库克，将成为苹果公司的新任CEO。
我相信苹果公司拥有无与伦比的创造力与光明的未来，而我，将会作为一个新的角色期待并见证。
我在苹果工作的日子里认识了许多很好的朋友，能够与你们共事多年，我无比荣幸。
史蒂夫 喬布斯的辭職信（英文原文） 2011-08-25 13:28:06To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:
I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO， I would be the first to let you know.
Unfortunately， that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve， if the Board sees fit， as Chairman of the Board， director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes， I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple， and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.
