Appreciation towards Enzo Enea for providing the following description:

On June 14, 2010, the Tree Museum situated on 75,000 square meters of breathtaking land near
Upper Lake Zurich in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, will officially open its gates.The Tree Museum
will exhibit individual trees from the collection of Enzo Enea, the Swiss landscape architect and
one of the world’s most prominent tree collectors. In a series of open spaces we show our appreciation for trees by using them to create spaces in
a unique way that integrates aesthetics, sustainability, history and lifetime. Our passion for landscape architecture and our tireless creativity to explore new structures and
forms of garden rooms led us daily through the design and construction of this great project.

At any given time there will be approximately 120 trees on view, subject to an exhibition schedule
which will present ‘theme viewings’ focused on different types of trees, ways of shaping and more.
The Tree Museum will soon also open up to an active involvement with the arts.
Landscape “artist” Enzo Enea completed the Tree Museum in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, right
next to the brand new headquarters for Enea Garden Design designed by Miami based
Oppenheim Architecture + Design . The museum includes 50 different species on the site of a 14th century monastery, some of them
130 years old. These have been collected by Enzo himself for the past 17 years, sometimes
rescuing trees threatened by construction or urban expansion. The collection includes over 2,000
species on an adjacent 2.5 acre park.

来自瑞士景观建筑师，也是世界上最杰出的树收藏家 Enzo Enea的作品。这些树种在中国和东亚很常见。但是在瑞士当地却不是这样的情况。这个博物馆大约收集了50种，120颗左右的树木，如樟子松，玉兰等等。一些来自一个14世纪的修道院，树龄超过了130岁。还有一些是在过去17年间，被建筑和城市扩张所威胁到的树木，他们被景观建筑师拯救。收集的范围也是相当大。景观建筑师将当地的砂岩通过框架固定，形成了形状各异的墙。
在这砂岩背景墙下看树，这些大多数来自东方的树似乎也具有了东方的禅意。树的博物馆已于2010年6月14日在瑞士苏黎世湖边的Rapperswil-Jona开放。在一系列开放空间中，为树木创造了集合美学，可持续发展，历史，生命等的独特展示方式。设计师对景观的热情和不懈的创作激情产生出了这样一个别具一格的花园，并日以继夜的进行推敲，直到这个伟大的工程完工。树博物馆旁边的Enea总部，花园由Miami based Oppenheim Architecture + Design 设计。
