中新网沈阳1月10日电 (司晓帅)沈阳方圆大厦入选美国CNN旗下的生活旅游网站近日评选的全球最丑十大建筑，在网络上引发了广泛关注。沈阳市建筑设计院副院长赵宇10日在接受中新网记者专访时表示，这座建筑在建成多年后没有湮没在其他建筑中，足以说明它是一件成功的建筑作品。

方圆大厦位于辽宁省沈阳市沈河区，是一座融商务、贸易、办公的写字楼，由台湾知名设计师李祖源设计。目前，这座沈阳金融商贸开发区的地标性建筑已有韩国SK、日本伊藤忠、美国霍尼韦尔、德国蒂森电梯等20余户知名外资企业入驻。

与朝鲜平壤柳京饭店、迪拜亚特兰蒂斯饭店等知名建筑一同获评全球十大最丑建筑，让沈阳方圆大厦“一鸣惊人”。组织评选的CNN生活旅游网站认为，方圆大厦试图融合东西方风格，但看起来并不和谐。而鉴于审美标准不同，该网站还表示，对于这十大建筑更准确的说法应该是“最有争议”。

对此，沈阳市建筑设计院副院长赵宇认为，建筑审美和流行服装审美一样，随着时间的推移，人的审美和时代的需求都在发生变化，任何一个人都有权利去评价它是美是丑。21世纪初落成的方圆大厦时至今日还能够引起争议，足以说明它是一件成功的作品。

赵宇表示，由于每个人对建筑艺术的审美取向不尽相同，包括国家大剧院在内的诸多著名建筑都存在争议。从个人的审美观考虑，自己并不喜欢具象化的建筑风格，更希望通过抽象艺术来表达建筑师的思想。

赵宇说，沈阳当时处于一个发展的新时期，城市需要新的形象、新的建筑，因为该建筑形状特异，在它落成时还引起了不小轰动。

记者10日上午在拍摄这座“极具争议”的建筑时，它正“掩藏”在薄薄的雾气下，直到中午时分才清楚可见。

据了解，方圆大厦总建筑面积达48000平方米，建筑高度99.75米，大厦内部采用三段挑空空间结构。其正立面为中国“古钱币”外形，有人称这是预示入驻大厦的业主财源广进、事业发达，也有人认为这是象征中国传统文化的天圆地方。
