Helen Adams Keller was an American author and lecturer. She was born in Tuscumbia, Alabama on June 27, 1880 and died on June 1, 1968.

1. Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.

　　2.Self-pity is our worst enemy and if we yield to it, we can never do anything good in the world.
