What qualities are important for each place? Write words from the box next to each place below．Write the most important words first．

要点解疑
①inexpensive意思是“花钱不多的；不昂贵的”，它是expensive加前缀in-构成的。英语中一个词可在前面加上一个前缀，引起意思上的变化，不改变词类。前缀中有相当一部分可构成反义词。常见的表示“不”的前缀有：un-, dis-, in-, im-。
例如：happy高兴的，快乐的——unhappy不高兴的，不快乐的；
crowded 拥挤的——uncrowded不拥挤的，宽松的；
true真的，真实的——untrue不真实的，虚伪的，假的；
agree同意——disagree不同意；
dependent依靠的——independent独立的；
active积极的，活跃的——inactive不活动的，不活跃的；
action行动，活动——inaction无行动，无作为，懒散；
possible可能的——impossible不可能的。
②表示“漂亮，美丽”的词有beautiful, fine, fair, good-looking, handsome, nice, pretty。它们的用法如下：
beautiful“美丽的”。最普通用词，可用来修饰人、物或者天气等。形容人时，常用于形容女人，不能形容男人。
例如：My wife is very beautiful．我的妻子很漂亮。
I like this beautiful weather．我喜欢这美好的天气。
fine“美丽的；可爱的”。可用来修饰人、物、天气。程度没有beautiful强烈。
指天气时，表示“晴朗的；无云的”。形容人时，主要形容女人，表示“纤细”。
例如：It's a fine day, isn't it? 今天天气晴朗，是吗?
Mary is a fine girl．玛丽是个美丽的姑娘，
fair“美丽的”，强调外表的美。形容女人时，特指面貌的美，不能形容男人。
这是较古的用法。
例如：Mary is a fair girl．玛丽是一个美丽的姑娘。
It's fair weather．晴朗的天气。
good-looking“美的”，特指容颜美。多用来形容人，一般不用来形容物。
例如：He is neither ugly nor good-looking。他不丑不俊。
handsome“漂亮的；美的”。多用来形容男人或小孩。
例如：He is a handsome fellow．他是个漂亮的小伙子。
He was a handsome boy with large, bright eyes and blond hair．
他是个英俊的少年，长着大而明亮的眼睛和淡黄色的头发。
nice“美的；美味的”。形容人时，指讨人喜欢的，可用来形容男人或女人。形
容天气时。指“宜人的”；形容衣物时，指“漂亮的”；形容食物时，指“味美可口的”。

①fun名词，基本意思是“玩笑；嬉戏”，常见的句式有：have fun玩乐；be fond of fun喜欢开玩笑；be full of fun好玩得很；for/in fun开玩笑地；make fun of sb．同某人开玩笑。

②take a vacation是“度假”的意思。“take＋a＋名词”结构常用宋表示做一次性的动作。

③teenagers意思是“青少年”，用来指13—19岁的人。

④enjoy意思是“享受……之乐；欣赏；喜爱”，其后可以跟名词、代词、动词ing形式作它的宾语，动词不定式则不能作它的宾语。类似用法的单词还有：mind介意；excuse原谅；practise练习；miss错过；suggest建议；finish完成；face面对；imagine想像；pardon原谅；stand忍受等。
例如：He enjoys watching cartoons on TV．他喜欢在电视上看卡通片。
