Dreams
People are always interested in making dreams. Dreams are something that we don’t have, but we want to have. Some people dream of being famous, some dreams of being rich, and some even dream of being healthy. Many of my friends dream to be scientists, artists or bosses. But my dream is to be a useful person in future.
What is a useful person? He must be active, healthy, modest and optimistic. He always knows what to do and how to do. A useful person may have his own thoughts, may try his best to do something for his family, for his friends and for the society. I have no idea what may I be in future. But at least I know I am a student now, I have to study hard, I need to learn so much knowledge that I can run a company in future, design groups of buildings in future, treat hundreds of patients in future or even teach generations of students in future. I do not tend to be rich or famous, I only dream of doing the following things. I want to write one page of diary each day, then within one year, it will turn out to be an interesting book; I want to read one book each week, then within ten years, I will be very clever; I want to make one friend each month, then within twenty years, all my friends and I will form an extremely harmonious family of society; I want to plant one tree each year, then within my life, the trees can frame a big forest, offering fresh air and greenish scenery to the world. Then, maybe one day, I can be proud of myself and say: “ Ah, I am happy because I have been a useful person throughout my life!” This is my dream. Dear friends, I wish you can share my dream and appreciate my dream though it is a very common dream.
Ladies and gentlemen, there are many heros and heroins in the world, but we need ordinary people more. Let us all be ourselves and do our best for the world.
