10月25日，广电总局正式下发通知管理上星频道。2012年1月1日起，婚恋、涉案等7类节目被限；卫视晚7:30-10:00黄金档每周娱乐节目不超两档；全国省级卫视一年选秀类节目不超10档，类型不得重复；省级卫视须设一档道德节目。
