This is an age of advertising. For a big country showing itself on the mainstream stage in the world, it not only promotes its products, but also needs to show its behaviors, voices and quality. Besides, it cares about the brand recognition after the shows.

The Chinese national image video launched by the News Office of the State Council is now being shot. The video is composed of a 30-second "Character Chapter" and a 15-minute "Angle Chapter." According to schedule, the video will be released by international mainstream media this year before China's National Day, which falls on Oct. 1.

What kinds of people are more suitable as a representative of China? What will reflect the real side of China?

Production team mainly consists of young people born after 1980s

Usually such an important task should be completed by a team of big names.

But it is not the case. The production team entrusted with the task of the national image video consists of five groups with Gao Xiaolong as Director-in-Chief. Gao participated in filming the Beijing Oympic Video, but most of other members of the team were born after 1980s and are relatively unknown.

When asked why he used such a young team, Gao said many of these post-1980s youth just left the schools and found jobs only in one or two years. They were energetic and fearless with direct recognition of the Chinese society. They had their own optimistic opinions and are passionate in works.

According to Gao, such a long advertisement should not be shot by some "experienced" advertising professionals,

"They know about how to simply and easily shoot the video, but the video I want to shoot should have my idea. So I want to use these young people," he said.
